The drum coating machine works by heating and melting coating materials in a mixing tank and spraying them onto the fertilizer. Inert powder is simultaneously fed into the coater via a screw conveyor to form uniform single or multiple coating layers on the granule surfaces. The coating materials are available in a wide variety, ranging from slow-release and controlled-release agents for regulating nutrient release, to functional additives such as trace elements and beneficial microorganisms, as well as auxiliary agents for moisture resistance, anti-caking, and improved appearance.
